In our latest release of NaviPlan®, we have implemented enhancements to the client portal, applied changes pertaining to the Child Tax Credit for US users, and introduced report improvements. You can view or read more about these changes below.
Client portal enhancements
Automatic plan updates
Results in the client portal can now be recalculated and refreshed automatically to reflect the most current available account values through account integration. This makes the online results more relevant over time and can increase client utilization.
Additionally, if account aggregation is active for a client, published plans can be viewed in two ways: as they were on the date they were published in the client portal or with their most current data. Within this mode, you have access to the "Quick Action" reports, so you can quickly answer client questions in greater detail.
Child and family tax credits
As part of the 2018 Tax Cut and Jobs Act (TCJA), the new rules applicable to the Child Tax Credit have been applied from 2018 through 2025. Applicable client plans will have the credit applied automatically.
"Probability of success" report improvements
The "probability of success" reports have been expanded to include additional tables detailing success rates and end-of-plan net worth at various percentiles.
We look forward to introducing additional enhancements to the newly improved NaviPlan and its client portal throughout the year. In the meantime, current users can learn more about these latest enhancements by accessing the NaviPlan learning center.
